When hard water dries on a car, for example from a lawn sprinkler or after washing in the sun, it leaves white rings on the paint and glass. Light limescale spots can usually be dissolved chemically, while etched spots need polishing.

Send us photos of the spots via WhatsApp, ideally at an angle against the light. That already tells us a lot.

Wash and inspect
After washing, we can see which spots are just deposits and which have already etched into the paint. We agree the price beforehand.

Dissolve the limescale
We dissolve surface deposits with a suitable cleaner, panel by panel, without letting the product dry on.

Polishing if needed
If marks remain in the paint, we discuss polishing with you and, if you like, protection afterwards.

FAQ
Questions about limescale stain removal
How do limescale spots form on a car?
Tap and well water contain dissolved minerals. When the water evaporates, they stay behind as white rings. In the sun this happens especially fast.
How can I tell whether a spot has etched in?
If a dull ring is still visible after a thorough wash and does not come off with cleaner, the surface has probably been affected. We can tell you for sure during the inspection.
Can I remove limescale spots myself with vinegar?
We advise against it. Household remedies can affect seals, plastics and protective coatings, and they do not help with etched spots anyway. It is better to have the spots assessed first.
How can I prevent new limescale spots?
Wash in the shade if possible, dry the car after washing and avoid parking within reach of sprinklers. A sealant also helps water run off.
