Milk often spreads further than you can see. We check how far it has soaked into the upholstery, carpet and underlay, and agree the price before we start.

We break down the protein residue and flush it out of the fabric and foam with spray extraction.

If needed, we also treat the odor, for example with ozone. The vehicle is then thoroughly ventilated.

FAQ
Questions about spilled milk
What should I do right after the spill?
Blot up as much milk as possible with an absorbent cloth, without rubbing. Use cold water rather than hot so the protein does not set, and leave the doors or windows open to air out the car if you can.
Why does the smell only appear after a few days?
Fresh milk barely smells. The typical sour odor only develops once the proteins break down inside the upholstery, and warm weather often makes it worse.
Will an odor spray or air freshener help?
Only briefly. As long as the residue is still in the material, the smell comes back. What really helps is removing the cause.
Does the carpet have to be removed?
That depends on how far the milk has spread. In many cases we can reach the affected areas with spray extraction. Whether more is needed becomes clear during the inspection, and we discuss it with you beforehand.
