FAQ
Questions about vomit in the car
What should I do right away?
Remove solid residue with paper towels or a scraper and gently blot any liquid without rubbing. Do not use hot water, as it can set protein in the fibers. Air out the vehicle and get in touch with us as soon as you can.
Isn't it enough to wipe the surface?
Usually not. Liquid quickly soaks through the cover into the foam underneath. The surface then looks clean, but the smell returns after a few days, especially in warm weather.
Is ozone treatment always necessary?
No. In many cases a thorough deep clean is enough, because it removes the source of the odor. Ozone can be a useful addition when the smell has settled into the ventilation or the headliner. The vehicle is thoroughly ventilated afterwards.
Can you collect the vehicle?
Yes, with our pick-up and return service for a distance-based surcharge, by arrangement and subject to availability. That way you do not have to drive the car yourself.
