Good to know

  • After many years of heavy smoking, a faint residual odor may remain, especially in foam and the headliner. We will tell you beforehand what is realistic.
  • Yellowish discoloration on the headliner cannot always be removed completely, because the headliner may only be cleaned with very little moisture.

Questions about smoke odor removal

Why isn't an air freshener enough?

Fragrances only mask the smoke odor and often mix with it. The smell sits in the deposits on every surface. Only once these are removed does it noticeably improve.

How does an ozone treatment work?

The ozone generator runs in the closed, empty vehicle while nobody is inside. Afterwards the vehicle is thoroughly ventilated. Ozone complements the cleaning, but does not replace it.

What about the cabin air filter?

The cabin air filter can hold on to smoke odor and spread it again through the ventilation. If it is not new, we recommend having it replaced after the treatment.

Is it worth treating the car before selling it?

A strong smoke smell puts off many potential buyers. The treatment can easily be combined with a pre-sale preparation.
